Officially counting down to Christmas! With only few days left before Christmas, I still have a ton of shopping to complete. When it comes to holiday shopping, I always make a holiday gift checklist to make sure I don't leave anyone out. Kicking off my holiday shopping, I spend a day at  Westfield Wheaton Mall in Maryland with hubby and Nolan. It was a day filled with shopping, eating and great family time. Nolan finally got to meet Santa and now he is eagerly awaiting Santa's gifts and his list includes more Paw Patrol and PJ Mask! He was ecstatic once I told him about meeting Santa; but when he finally saw Santa, you could see the mixed excitement and nervous emotions. After a day of shopping at some of my favorites stores such as H&M and Express, I couldn't wait to eat at one of our favorite restaurants Nandos.  If you follow me on Instagram , you probably know how much I love Nandos and the Peri Peri Chicken...a must try! Now, it's countdown to Christmas holiday. With the holiday spirit in the air and so many upcoming events, the question is usually what to wear?! For me, holiday work event style should be classy and fun. Rather than the usual work colored pants such as black, navy or grey, go for a fun colored pants with unique details or print. This tailored burgundy pants with red side stripes is different and the red color adds an element of holiday spirit. To complement the red side stripe details, I paired it with a red sweater . For a casual look for thanksgiving and shopping, I will suggest a pair of skinny jeans with pumps for dinner and switch to flats to shop. For me comfort is key when it come to holiday dinner with family and that's why I also suggested this stirrup plaid leggings in my previous post here as a great Thanksgiving holiday look.
